  • The Boston Tea Party

In Boston, Massachusetts on Dec 16, 1773 there was a tea party to end all tea parties. Not content to put a few leaves or even a bag or two into a pot, the good people of Boston got a little wild and crazy and threw all the tea that had just been delivered into the harbor. To be honest, the folks at Babybox.com would rather have ours served in nice fine china, but heck what do we know, I guess. In Boston they know how to throw a tea party! Of course it kind of helped along the American Revolutionary War that broke out in 1775, but I guess it goes to show that those folks from Boston are not to be messed with. So we tip our hat to Boston today and all the brave souls that fought for their rights over a nice cup of tea. Tip, tip and cheerio to you!
