Monday Blues
Monday again. How does that happen? Yesterday, I was feeling loved and pampered, now it is back to the grind. I made it through morning carpools, but still have to dream up something for dinner, help the oldest with a project that’s due this week and race back into cheer-leading roll at the sidelines of the newly started baseball season. Thank goodness I got so much love yesterday for Mother’s Day or I wouldn’t be able to face these Monday blues. Anyone else feeling blue?
sigh… me too.
Let’s drape the site in blue today and hope that tomorrow the sun will shine again and wipe away these blues. Who’s with me?
In the meantime, I would love to wrap this pretty blue fabric around myself and all over the baby’s nursery. Maybe that is my problem? Is it Monday blues or baby blues?Well, redecorating should help the cause regardless. The Multi Dots in Blue Fabric by the yard is a great way to coordinate your baby’s nursery. We carry all the New Arrival fabrics that are used in the bedding sets. Use the fabric in your wall decorations, cribs, toys, and play areas. The Fabric comes in a width of 54″, but please note that dye lots of fabrics can vary. Please order any additional fabric yardage needed when ordering custom bedding to insure fabrics are from the same dye lot.
Should we shed a little light on the day to make those blues seem not so bad? Time to flick on this Playthings Blue Spindle Chandelier, by Charn & Company. This chandelier has an antique finished applique and features our newest paigy pom pom pink lampshades. It has been developed in a rare-to-find design to embellish your child’s room. Gazing at these bright blues will chase away any dull spirits in no time as well. The “Blue Flowers in Pink Pot” wall art from Oopsy Daisy by Gale Kaseguma brightens the room with vibrant colors and shades. This top quality canvas reproduction is stretched over wood bars with no glass to break. This piece is made using the Giclee printing process and has the look and feel of an original painting. Makes a wonderful addition to any child’s room, playroom or even beach house. Designed by artist, Jenny Kostecki with biography attached to the back.
Some days we just can’t fight those blues though. On days like that, the best thing you can do is to roll with it and ride it out til tomorrow. My suggestion is wrapping yourself in this beautiful blue blanket, because who can resist cashmere? Exquisitely crafted to create a distinctively soft and comfortable feel, our cashmere baby blanket, in soft calming baby blue is made of the finest quality.
We use only the finest cashmere — for the softest touch and the longest fiber length to resist pilling. These are the most important characteristics of any cashmere product, and make this blanket one of our most popular year after year. We feel this gives our customers something to enjoy not only from the moment they touch it, but also for years to come, retaining their strength and shape, even after lots of snuggles.
