  • The Royal Birth

Have you been following the news of the royal birth? It seems that Kate Middleton has finally gone into labor, with the newest heir to the throne due to enter the world at any point. Babies are always exciting for us at Babybox.com, and a royal birth is no exception. Will it be a boy or girl? What will they name the prince or princess? Will the baby look like Prince William, Duchess Kate or maybe have some of Great-Grandma Elizabeth in them? We will have to wait and see! As details have been fairly hush hush, it is a waiting game for anyone with royal fever, but we are finally down to the crunch. What is your guess on how the royal birth will turn out? Regardless of the baby’s sex, Babybox.com is excited for the expecting couple. And if we were asked, here are some of the “royal” items we would suggest for them…

Monogram thread color will coordinate with picot trim.

royal palace cradle linens Once you are home, the regal heir needs someplace appropriate to sleep. We all know that first-time Mums like to keep their babies as close as possible, and a cradle by the bed is perfect for Kate and William’s present two bedroom space at Kensington Palace. Luxurious, rich fabrics in tones of gold and ivory add to the elegance of our new Royal Palace cradle linens set by Little Bunny Blue. Cream satin and cotton stripes are accented with a sheer and gold scroll print.

The Royal Palace (3) piece cradle bedding set includes: bumper, sheet, and light cradle blanket. Boudoir pillow may be purchased in the option box below.
We offer window treatments and coordinating crib linens and fabric yardage as an additional request.

royal kingdom iron crib by furniture Once the new family has moved into their four-storey, 20-room house with a nursery, they will have a little more space for this Royal Iron Crib. Perfect for any royalty, it is one of Corsican’s newest and finest. Corsican has crafted extraordinary iron furniture for more than 40 years. They remain true to classic designs and attention to detail and through their custom designs – reflect the personal taste of each client.

The craftsmanship on this crib is truly regal. The antique brass accents can also be painted at your request. This crib is made with stationary side rails. Mattress height is adjustable. Shown here with an antique white finish.

So the debate is, will the nursery be painted pastel pink or royal blue? We shall find out soon enough! In the interim, give us your best guess.

Should we start measuring the monarch on this “her royal highness” growth chart?
