    This precious little lion layette set is absolutely adorable. The set includes a side tie long sleeve shirt trimmed in picot, matching pant, and beanie hat. Available in your choice of blue, yellow, or pink embroidered lion. Perfect outfit for welcoming baby home.

    Gonna catch a big one;

    These lion sneakers are super for your little boy or girl. Each denim shoe has a handpainted lion at the toe, and is finished with coordinating curly orange laces. Designed with a strong durable sole, these shoes are perfect for your active child. Also makes a great baby gift and wonderful addition to any wardrobe.

    I’m not scared;

    This “Rauri The Lion Powder Blue ” wall art from Oopsy Daisy by Meghann O’Hara brings the King of the jungle into your little one’s room. Rauri the lion powder blue has the picture of a lion with the blue background which makes the lion look more colorful and unique. This top quality canvas reproduction is stretched over wood bars with no glass to break. This piece is made using the Giclee printing process and has the look and feel of an original painting. It is equipped with a wire hanger on the back for easy wall displaying so no framing is required. Each canvas is decoratively finished along the 3/4 inch thick sides. It can be wiped clean with a soft, dry cloth. Makes a wonderful addition to any child’s room, playroom or even beach house. Designer’s biography comes attached at the back.

    Look at all the flowers;

    This hand knitted and crocheted baby blanket comes with a crocheted toy attached by a crocheted string to the inside of the pocket (so it will never get lost). Wrap your little one in the cozy, colorfully striped blanket and let them sleep happily with cuddly lion at their side. Your new baby will find not only comfort but companionship with their new Lion Pocket Blanket.

    Nice Day;

    This fun lion makes a fluffy soft addition to a child’s collection of plush toys. We love its sweet grin and floppy body. His fuzzy mane is especially cute.

    These feet were made for walking

    Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

    Feet are a precious and often under-appreciated part of our bodies. Over an average lifespan, you can expect to put approximately 115 000 miles on them. Our feet get us from point A to point B whenever we so desire. They prop us up while we are unloading the dishwasher and while we are standing at the stove making that millionth meal. So why is it that, this resource that we rely upon every day is often so underappreciated? Goodness knows.

    While babies do not put in a lot of miles in their early days, their little tootsies are still very precious things. They need to be pampered with kisses and protected just like the rest of their perfect little bodies. While there is some debate as to whether babies should be barefoot and fancy- free or running ragged in a pair of racy runners there is certainly a place for socks and shoes. Experts suggest that as babies are taking their first steps, feet should be bare to help strengthen them and prevent restriction of growth. That being said, the uneven surfaces encountered out of doors are better met by the protection of socks and shoes.

    So if we must protect our little ones tender and fast growing feet, what better way than  with these little darlings! These are some of the most unique baby shoes we have found. Ribbit, Ribbit! We are Leap Frogs! Fun and fancy fellows who like to leap from lily pad to lily pad and spend our days sunning in the swamp! We enjoy insects and worms and catch them with our quick sticky tongues. The charm of Monkey-Toes is their individuality, because these shoes are hand painted and no two friends alike. With them being  available in children’s sizes 1-10 and custom made to order, why not get more than one! You will need that extra pair, as your babies feet grow approximately two sizes a year for the first five years!

    While you are stocking up on shoes,  don’t forget the little socks to go with them. Here are twelve pairs of baby socks packaged in an egg carton. They are 100% cotton with a little bit of spandex, so your little one won’t lose their little socks. Each has a non skid bottom. There is a mixture of twelve assorted solid colors in each dozen. If that doesn’t strike your fancy, they are also available in dots or solids.These little gems are hand “gathered” in America.

    While having a beautiful pair of shoes and socks is crucial for your little one, you will still  have to stay close. As toddling feet get more comfortable and experienced they just seem to move faster and faster. While you are at it, don’t forget your own feet and runners!

    Happy St. Patrick's Day !

    Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

    I love holidays and holiday traditions. Holidays are great times to celebrate, have fun, and bond with your family. Today, Saint Patrick’s Day is widely celebrated in America by Irish and non-Irish alike. Many people, regardless of ethnic background, wear green clothing and items.

    FamilyFun.go.com has great St. Patrick’s Day recipes and fun crafts to do. Some of the recipes they feature are: shamrock cupcakes, pot of gold soup, kiwi lime pie, sweet shamrock pretzels & more ! Some of their fun family craft projects include: making a cute leprechaun from a toliet paper roll, making irish hats, and more. They also have St. Patrick’s day games to play and downloadable coloring sheets.

    Kaboose.com is also a treasure trove of resources for family fun on holidays. I love their Blarney Stone Craft Project. They have an awesome site map that is a great overview of all the great family stuff they have Kaboose.com.
